Buying a house...or not!

Got pre-qualified for a house today...but don't think we are going to buy one right now after all! Joan told me that most houses are going for MORE than the list price right now! Geez! So, we got pre-qualified for 250K which means we would need to look for houses in the 220K range. There is nothing I would be willing to live in for that...not even in Fontana! Man! Well, we just have to be patient and trust God. I know that eventually it will happen for us, and I am just trying to be patient.
Levi started making baskets in the little hoop today, and putting little toys into baskets! He is soo cute, and was so pround of himself for doing it, and I even got him on film doing it!
Micah was cracking me up today putting his head inside a clearish bucket and going "ahhhh"! He was loving the echo his voice made! What a cutie!
Noah had fun today pushing his baby around in the stroller I fixed, and also dragging a wagon around. He also learned about the letter "B" today, and was not a fan of the "Baby Bumblebee" song. Noah really wanted to go outside today or go to the park, but it was freezing and kept raining on and off, so we couldn't. I hope it warms up soon!
Micah and Levi have started giving kisses! When we say "Ah! You're sooo sweet!" they will kiss each other, or anyone who is near! It is so very sweet! Noah likes to get in on the action too! They are all so sweet to each other most of the time, and it warms my heart to see them loving on each other. I love my family, and love that this house is so full of LOVE!

Levi Joseph

Is my sweet little toy stealer! He always seems to be fascinated with whatever toy Micah happens to be playing with, and he snatches it! Micah is usually content to just give it over and find something new to play with. I wonder how this dynamic will play out as they get older! Hmmmm. Levi is being so funny lately throwing his head back and laughing. It is hillarious and I need to try to catch it on video soon! :)

Bedtime stories...

Noah's current favorite bedtime story is the Big Block Chevy Performance manual...it is hillarious! It has tons of pictures of Camaros and other cars, and all these different engine parts, and he likes to look at the pictures and have me describe everything, even though I really have no clue what I am talking about! He is such a boy! Everything he sees in the book he says, "That makes the car go bery, bery fast!" He is sooo cute! There is also a picture of some kind of springs, and he said they were for in case the car needs to jump :) Then I pretended to pull the springs out of the book and hook them onto his feet so he could jump, and he thought it was funny! Then he wanted to put the springs on my feet, so I let him, and then I jumped up and down, touching the ceiling fan and making it spin! He totoally dug this, and got a huge kick out of it! I LOVE this boy!
Levi and Micah are both getting curls! I LOVE IT! Of course they both have them in the exact same place, right at the base of their neck! I don't think Noah's curls developed until after he turned one, so I think theirs have appeared sooner! Levi started shaking his head no today. We tell him no when he tries to touch the computer and shake our heads no, and he started mocking us. It's soo cute! Micah is our crazy little climber! He climbs up on everything...up onto this little rocking chair we have, and climbing in and out of the cozy coupe! He is funny, and so rambunctious!

GO away stomach flu!

Noah and I have both had the stomach flu! Noah started throwing up on Valentine's night, (for the second year in a row!) and I came down with it yesterday! No fun! I am just praying hard that Nick or the babies don't get it!

Valentines Day...Five years since our first date!

So, I didn't actually get around to posting on Valentine's Day, but I think it is better late than never, right!? Nick had some really pretty flowers sent to me form ProFlowers. They weren't open very much when they first arrived in the box, so Nick was kind of dissapointed, but then overnight they bloomed! Now they are so beautiful! We don't know what kind of flowers they are, but they were called the 100 blooms of love. I got Nick a card, and the movie Fireproof. I got Noah a card, a Mickey DVD, markers, stickers, and some candy. He was very excited about Valentines day, and was so cute about the whole thing.

Mei Tai...no not a drink with rum

I finished sewing my first Mei Tai today! It's a asian style baby carrier, that even Noah can ride in! It cost me about $40 to make, and took about 15 hours! I can't believe how good it came out, and, I am pretty excited about it! Next I am going to make Ashley one also. I am going to give her the second one, because it will probably turn out even better than the first! Anyway, who knows, maybe I will sell them one day.

Little eating machines!

Micah and Levi are such huge eaters! They sat in their high chairs for over 30 minutes at dinner tonight, and they were literally eating the whole time! First carrots and green beans, followed by cheddar cheese, grapes, pizza, and then mandarine orange slices! I think they would eat until they exploded if I let them!

Am feeling so very thankful for all my healthy babies, but am feeling so very overwhelmingly sad for several families who have lost their babies, or have children with terrible diseases. It's hard to understand why God allows such things to happen. I know He is a good God, I do not question that. But still it is so hard to understand, and so heartbreaking. I can't help but imagine myself and my babies in their situation, and I just read these blogs and cry. Thank you God for my family, be with those whose hearts are hurting.

Slinging Superbowl Sunday

Levi's 5th tooth broke through today...the second tooth on the top right! I can't believe he already has 5 teeth, which he uses to bite me while he nurses! Man, does it hurt! Micah does it too, especially right at the end of nursing when they are finished...it's like their signal they are done! Ouch! Nursing is still going really well though, besides that! I have plenty of milk, and I think I will keep nursing for 6 more months. I love doing it, and it is so much easier than bottles, so as long as they want to, I think I will continue! It is always so hard to stop for me, and such a sign of not being a baby anymore once it is done! Man, I love my babies. They are simply so sweet and are developing the cutest little personalities. Micah has been having so much fun in the bathtub lately! He slips and slides all over on purpose, and just cracks me up! Noah is too funny also...last night he called me into his room after her has already been laying down for about an hour and melted my heart with his words!
Noah: Mommy, get in my bed with me. I'm sad. I need you.
Of course there was no resisting that...not that I should even try! I know one day soon, he will never make that request of me again! So, I obliged him...I crawled in bed with him, and before I knew it we had both fallen asleep! Nick finally came looking for me, and woke me up! Ah, I love my Noah!
Today was the Superbowl and we had my parents, Nat, Aaron, Ashley and James, Kristi and Grandpa Art over. We had lots of yummy food, and a good time! James was the first tiny baby I got to test out my sling on, and he slept like a rock in it for about an hour! It was pretty awsome! :) He was simply so sweet curled up in a little ball with his hands near his face!

Park and moms

We went to beryl park today and my mom met us there. I used the sling to carry Levi in and he adored it! He loved being tucked in close to me, and I love it too! I wish I would have had it when they were first born...sadness! We got In-N-Out and ate it is the car at the park. The babies ate the grilled cheese, and they loved it! Also, besides just going in the swings, the babies are now able to crawl around a bit on the other park equipment and they really seem to enjoy it! They just crawl right up the stairs, and slide down the slides with a little help, and love every minute! Oh, how I love being a stay-at-home mom, and being there to enjoy all those simple pleasures and firsts! It truly is the most rewarding job in the world. I am so thankful to Nick for provding for us so I can stay home with my babies. They are my world! Anyway, we went to my mom's after the park, and naps were a disaster! Micah and Levi just cried and cried, finally fell asleep and then only slept for 20 minutes. They know when they are not at home, and it did not go well at all! They actually took a 3rd nap later at home, which thye don't do anymore usually, but they were so tired! They are only taking 2 naps now...one around 9am, and the other around 1 or 2 pm. Noah also still naps from 1:30-2pm until about 4 or 4:30. Days that he does nap he usually goes to bed at 8:30, and days when he doesn't nap he usually goes down at about 7pm. It is nice to have the kids all nap at the same time in the afternoon, so I usually get at least an hour to rest...at least that's the theory! :)

4 grandsons!

Finally got some pictures of all 4 of my parents grandsons today! How fun! Today is groundhogs day...6 more weeks of winter according to that hairy little guy.
